The activities of the project “Sboryanovo – discover, know, narrate” are several. They have been carried out since the summer of 2022 and continue at present. One of the first activities to be completed was “A Look into the Past”, which was accompanied by information meetings with representatives of the population of the village of Malak Porovets, the village of Sveshtari and the town of Isperih. The information meetings enriched the results of a study whose aim is to survey residents of Isperih Municipality who are direct witnesses of and participants in the archaeological research at the Sboryanovo Archaeological Reserve.
Another part of the project activities is the preparation and organisation of the Demonstration Seminar “Transfer of Good Practice for Non-invasive Methods in Archaeological Research”, which was attended by museum specialists, lecturers from Konstantin Preslavsky University of Shumen, representatives of the Helis non-profit association and others.
As preparation for the project’s last exciting event, a training course for animators was organised. They are to take part in the project’s final event – the Archaeology Festival “Sboryanovo – discover, know, narrate”, which will take place on 17 June 2023. We look forward to welcoming you!
