During the period between 2001 and 2004 members of the association participate in seminars and short courses, organized by the Spanish Embassy, the Committee on Alternative Tourism in the town of Razgrad, Bulgaria, the association of Business Centre – Isperih and the Pokrov Bogorodichen foundation. These initiatives were realized in relation to the application process and execution of projects in the field of tourism.
The association participated in the foundation of the non-profit association Mestna iniciativna grupa – Isperih (The Local Initiative Group of Isperih). Up to this moment, our association has realized three independent projects and is currently working on a fourth one.
2002
The project Preserved Past Protected Nature passed the application process of the funding organization – the Otvoreno Obshtestvo club in Ruse (Open community club – Ruse). It was executed with the financial support of the American agency on international development within the programme Democratic Network. Within this project the association has partnered with the Historical museum of Isperih, Business Centre Isperih association and the Vasil Levski secondary school in the town of Isperih. The work of the project has focused on the improvement of the facilities in the central part of the Archaeological reserve of Sboryanovo including the building of rest areas for tourists. The managed fund was a total of 10 242 GBN, 7000 of which were provided by the Open community club in the town of Ruse. The rest areas are maintained and guarded by the Historical museum of Isperih.
2005 – 2006
The project Zharava ot Etnosi under the Interethnic Interraction proramme of the Partnjori Bulgaria foundation was realized with the partnership of the Municipal library of Isperih, the Historical museum of Isperih, the Municipality of Isperih, Hristo Botev primary school and Vasil Aprilov primary school. There were two library clubs created – Mlad tvorets and Bit i kultura, in which children from three different ethnic backgrounds participated. The children were students from the two mentioned primary schools in the town of Isperih. The computer room equipped within the project allowed children to use the contemporary information network and communicate online with other clubs within the country. After the conclusion of the project the computer room is used by the participants in the clubs and the library visitors. The total value of the project was 13 574 BGN, 3918 of which were provided by us.
2014
The project Svidetelstva ot Minaloto – Most kum Nastoyashteto was realized in collaboration with the Central municipal library of Petya Yordanova in Isperih under the Rural Development Programme 2007 – 2013, the Strategy for local development of the The Local Initiative Group of Isperih under measure 7. 1. Napred kam nasledstvoto – teritoriyata na Isperih ni obedinyava.
As a result of the project the following products were created: digital Studio Helis, catalogue and a open access database of publications and educational regarding heritage sites in the Archaeological reserve of Sboryanovo and the Municipality of Isperih. Training was provided for young people and specialists from local institutions who participated in the digitalization of 250 paper documents. The open access to these internet resources is to be used by school children, university students, teachers, specialists in the heritage fiend and anyone with interest in Bulgaria’s cultural heritage.
2022 – 2023
