Informative meetings

The activities of the project “Sboryanovo – discover, know, narrate” include information meetings in two settlements: the village of Malak Porovets and the village of Sveshtari (Isperih Municipality). Preparation for these events included informing people in advance that they would be held. They took place over two days – on 13 October 2022 in Malak Porovets and on 14 October 2022 in Sveshtari. The aims of the information meetings include acquainting the local community with the aims and tasks of the project, presenting new aspects of the research into the cultural and historical heritage on the territory of the Sboryanovo Archaeological Reserve, some problems related to its protection, and raising questions about its promotion and valorisation. The meetings made it possible to identify older men and women who had taken part in the archaeological research and to promote the cultural heritage of the Sboryanovo Archaeological Reserve, and the participants filled in questionnaires. The aims that had been set were successfully achieved, and the ties of the local population with the cultural heritage of the region were strengthened.
